Playtime is the development of a space which is both an event and nonevent space. A place which will allow the mixing of casual encounters with set programs.

The project is a park and wintergarden; a recreational space which can be utilized all year. The space also contains a theater and several restaurants and bars.

The site is an area over the river just north east of the South St. seaport in NYC. The entire project will be built out on peers.
